Bigg Boss 15 gets two-week extension

Bigg Boss 15, starring Salman Khan, was set to get an extension. And now, according to Colors TV's latest promo, the reality show will air for two more weeks before ending on January 30.

Bigg Boss announced in a new commercial released on Monday that the race to the finale will last a little longer. Those who have yet to receive a 'Ticket to Finale' will now have the opportunity to compete for one and replace those who already have the badge. Then Salman Khan appears on the drawing-room Me-TV and informs the candidates that the show will be extended for another two weeks. Rakhi Sawant, like the other candidates, is ecstatic, but the Bollywood actor makes a look that expresses his disappointment with the news.

While Bigg Boss 15 will be renewed, the makers have delayed the premiere of Hunarbaaz, a talent hunt show. The show will premiere on January 22 and will air at 9 p.m. on Weekend Ka Vaar. Weekend Ka Vaar will now air either at 8 p.m. before Hunarbaaz or at 10:30 p.m. after the show, according to sources. The premiere of Fanaa, which was supposed to air during the reality show's weekday slot, has been postponed.

With the show's renewal, the producers planned to bring back a few past contestants to the house. Vishal Kotian and Rajiv Adatia had been quarantined as well. Vishal's test for Covid-19, on the other hand, came up positive, putting his chances of returning to the house in jeopardy.

"I've been found to be positive for Covid-19. I am symptom-free and in excellent health. I've separated myself and am following my doctor's and health specialists' advice. If you have contacted me, I urge you to get tested as soon as possible. "Everyone, stay safe," he wrote on Instagram.

The team has yet to decide whether or not Rajiv will join the house, and if so, with whom.
